The Grudge Rematch

StrictlyFighting.com was at the Table Mountain Casino in Friant, CA (near Fresno) and caught some good fights. The woman’s event with Debi Purcell vs Rosi Sexton kept the crowd cheering as the fighters exchanged blows throughout the entire fight. Jared Hamman vs Poai Suganuma cleared all doubts when Hamman won by TKO in the first round when he caught Poai with a “one-two” combo causing the dazed Hawaiian to shoot for the double leg on the Californian, Hamman sprawled out of the attempt and hammer’d his way for the TKO victory in 2:34 of the first round. EliteXC showed no signs of the “sophmore blues” for this event as Norcal fighters Jake Shields, Nate Diaz, Scott Smith took the cage to battle.
