If you haven’t heard by now, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was recently arrested for a “hit and run” incident in Costa Mesa, CA. According to Lt. Paul Dondero of the Costa Mesa Police Department, Police received a report of an accident on the 55 Freeway near 19th Street in Costa Mesa involving a large pickup truck that had struck other vehicles and fled the scene, Dondero said. A Costa Mesa officer spotted the pickup getting involved in another collision and fleeing toward Newport Beach. The pickup, which had a tire disabled in the collisions, was pulled over in Newport Beach and Jackson was taken into custody without incident, Dondero said. There were no injuries involved in the various collisions.

If you know “Rampage Jackson”…

Then you know that this is not in his nature. What he did was not acceptable and he should accept the repercussions. However, if you competed in athletics, you know how painful losing can be (after putting your heart and soul into training). Several top-notched athletes have gone into deep depression and never recovered after losing. Also, after digging around the Internet, I noticed that Quinton did a lot more partying than usual. He was in Las Vegas last week getting crazy (there are a few pics floating around the net). Also peep this interview he did with Throwdown, it may be taken offline, so check it out quick…

As you can see, this isn’t the normal Quinton Jackson. I personally think Quinton should invest in a Sports therapist. Georges St. Pierre publicly stated he saw one after his loss to Matt Serra (now look at him)…

Strictlyfighting.com sends its wishes to Quinton Jackson and hopes he can recover mentally and physically.

Note: Strictlyfighting.com has spoken with Juanito Ibarra (Quinton’s trainer) and a possible interview may come soon…
